A person suspected within the homicide of a Binghamton College scholar who jumped on a flight to his native Nicaragua was arrested Tuesday within the Central America nation, The New York Put up reported.
Orlando Tercero, 22, who holds twin citizenship, fled to Nicaragua after allegedly killing Haley Anderson, 22, a fellow scholar at Binghamton’s Decker Faculty of Nursing.
Nicaraguan authorities advised WABC-TV that Tercero had been detained and transferred to a jail in El Chipote, 40 miles southwest of the capitol, Managua.
Anderson was found useless in Tercero’s mattress final Friday in his off-campus dwelling. Anderson’s dying was dominated a murder, however police haven’t mentioned how or why she was killed.
