The dumped horse left the woman’s grandmother “very shocked”

A grandmother was “very shocked” to discover a horse in her again backyard after her 13-year-old granddaughter ordered it from the web.

Giving her grandmother’s handle in Stoke-on-Trent, the horse was later left in her again backyard.

The animal welfare charity mentioned the horse, named Mr Melvin Andrews, was underweight and coated in mites.

Charlotte Melvin, from the charity, mentioned a person dumped the horse on the home on Ford Inexperienced Highway with “no phrases of recommendation” on 27 April, “leaving a really shocked nan”.

She mentioned Mr Melvin Andrews “clearly was not handled properly earlier than being deserted” and the earlier proprietor has not been discovered.
